DROPS OF OUR TEARS
The truth is out there, which I want to deny
For I refuse to sit here and tell a lie
It hurts like hell and breaks my heart
To know that Scully and Mulder must part.
The show is over, now they must leave
As i honour the truth and always believe
For nine years now I chose to trust
The two who fell in love not lust.
I watched and listened week after week
To the believer and sceptic as lessons they'd speak
Of faith,of life,of love and hope
As trust became their way to cope.
Now it's time to say our last good bye
Although I want to truly deny
The truth is out there for us to see
With one last toast of root beer and ice tea.
So as i have a heavy heart and many tears do fall
The memories of the past embrace me as they call
As the curtains draw to a close and the music plays no more
One last tear tricles down,as silence hits the floor.
I reach out with a heavy hearta s tears fall from my soul
I catch them with my memories as deeply I console
I realize I'm not asleep,that it is not a dream
I see the credit's one last time as every tear's a scream.

For too long now I've only seen you in my dreams
As nightly my tears would fall my heart would let out screams
I'd bow my head every night to speak to God and pray
For the strength to get me through the passing of each day
I longed for you so very much with every last tear
I felt you close within my heart as comfort for my fear
I knew one day this day would come it's how I got through
Waking up and sleeping so desperately without you
Knowing deep within my heart completely with my soul
That our truth always gas and will make us whole
I stand here with you so happy and complete
As my soul tells my heart it knows of no defeat
Our arms wrap us warmly in embrace
My heart sings out as it knows of this place
Even though my words are silent I still can hear
For each word is spoken through every tear
As it says together we know of no fear
Our destiny completely forever is here
Lost in the night together as one
